CAPE ARID NATIONAL PARK, WA
CAPE ARID NATIONAL PARK
Cape Arid National Park can be found about 130kms east of Esperance, Western Australia.
It's Cape Le Grands lesser known (but just as stunning) cousin, meaning you can get all the beauty without the crowds.
Most of it's accessible by 4x4 only (which is what makes it so great) but if you're towing a caravan you can still access the campsites in the Thomas River region (it's dirt road but a good one) and then go exploring from there. We actually got in lateish so we camped at Thomas River ourselves.
It'll set you back $11 per adult per night for camping, and has HUGE sites, drop toilets (they'd run out of paper so byo), water & a camp kitchen area with bbqs. Or if you'd rather go bush there are tons of other camping options that are free or by donation.
And FYI the drone was flown with permission from Parks and Wildlife, Western Australia
