Gees we love a good station stay, and when it's run by a fantastic young family then even better!
Kirkalocka Station can be found just south of Mount Magnet, Western Australia, about 500kms NE of Perth. It's just off the highway so very easily accessible, and it's now owned by a lovely young couple who incidentally only recently took over ownership - the station was previously in the same family for three generations & there's loads of original memorabilia to check out.
They offer camping out by the old shearers quarters. It'll cost you $30 per per night, and no, they won't charge you extra for your kids, plus power is available if needed. (There's a bunch of other accommodation options too if you're not in to camping). The camping area has potable water, a camp kitchen (with games, books & toys!), flushing toilets, a hot (donkey) shower, & a campfire with wood provided.
Then you're free to explore the property, meet the animals, and help out at feeding time, which of course made for one very happy kid!
